Sectors

Internal Residential Flooring

Perfect for any of our polished concrete treatments! They're simple to clean and resist germs, grime, and mold. Polished concrete is elegant and adds value to any décor!

Aviation Flooring

Airport hangars see a lot of traffic from planes, vehicles, and workers. The maintenance areas also involve chemicals and other liquids such as oil. Hangar floors need to be non-slip, super durable, and resistant to stains and chemicals.

External Residential Flooring

You must ensure that your exterior flooring is non-slip, long-lasting, and attractive. We propose honed and sealed concrete for patios, driveways, and paths. It's inherently non-slip and highly robust, allowing it to resist heavy foot traffic.

Healthcare Flooring

With all the foot activity, hospital floors should be simple to clean. Also, slip-resistance is required, particularly in ERs. My Polished Concrete suggests seamless flooring options like polished concrete.

Manufacturing Warehouse Flooring

The standard concrete used in industrial contexts generates a great deal of dust. It also stains readily, becomes slippery when wet, and isn't the most long-lasting option available on the market. That's why you need one of our polished concrete or epoxy flooring options to complete your project!

School and University Flooring

For schools, your internal areas need to look stunning, be durable, and easy to clean. Trust us, your maintenance and cleaning staff will thank you for installing polished concrete! It will make their job far more manageable.

What's Polished Concrete Flooring?

Standard concrete is cheap yet boring. It also produces a lot of dust, is fragile, and readily stains. Polished concrete flooring is the polar opposite. It’s tough, glossy, and stain-resistant. Polishing old concrete may radically change it. Using our Husqvarna concrete grinders, we remove the top layers of the concrete slab. This hardens the existing concrete, smooths it out, and removes any flaws. Grinding the concrete slab exposes the attractive aggregate below. We use concrete densifiers and hardeners to make the surface more durable.

At My Polished Concrete, we use state-of-the-art diamond polishing equipment and superior concrete polishing techniques. These allow us to transform your existing or new concrete into a glass-like, shimmering finish. The chances are that your floors already have an existing concrete foundation. This makes polished concrete flooring an easy and cost-effective solution! Now you can add glamour and sophistication to any space. Many techniques can alter the look and feel of your polished concrete. You can achieve mirror-like floors, different colors, rustic, low-gloss, anti-slip and more! There are also many options for decorative enhancements like swirls and splashes with our decorative epoxy coatings! Polished concrete is low maintenance and will last for decades. It will allow you to find the perfect balance between beauty and functionality!

What are the Benefits of Polished Concrete?
Polished concrete flooring comes in a variety of colors and finishes. It’s a terrific approach to create a stylish design without any effort. Here are some of the key advantages of Polished Concrete Virginia!

Superior long-term Durability: There is no other flooring that can compare to the durability and resilience of polished concrete. Timber and tile are both outclassed when it comes to the durability of polished concrete. It can readily withstand the traffic generated by employees, automobiles, and other large-scale events. Stores, restaurants, industries, and households may all benefit from it.

Lower Energy Bills: Believe it or not, you will save a ton of money on your energy bills. There are two reasons for this! If you have polished concrete with a high-gloss finish, it will reflect a ton of ambient light. That means you won’t have to run as many lights during the day since it will bounce the ambient light around the room! Not only that, but it will absorb the heat during the day and release it at night. Customers report saving up to as much as 50% on their energy bills!

It’s Cheap: No need to remove existing concrete floor with polished concrete. This saves you money straight away! Polished concrete is long-lasting and requires little to no maintenance.

Can be Used to Compliment Any Decor: With so many different finishes, colors, and designs to choose from, you can easily find a solution that complements your own style!

Allergy-Friendly and Non-Toxic: Polished concrete is impenetrable! That means dust, grime, mold, and germs won’t be able to settle in. It’s a fantastic remedy for allergy sufferers!

How to Maintain Your Polished Concrete

Polished concrete flooring is very low maintenance, but there are a few key things you should know to keep it clean!

  • Vacuum and dust every day. If your area sees a lot of traffic, be sure to dust as often as possible. If dust settles in on your floor, it can ruin the shine due to its abrasiveness.
  • Mop using clean water, a microfiber mop, and PH neutral floor cleaner. Be sure to thoroughly wring out the mop so that too much water doesn’t sit on your floor.
  • If there are any spills, clean them up as soon as possible. The less time you give the spill to seep into the surface, the better!
  • Apply protective pads to your chairs, tables, and other furniture. That way, they won’t scratch or scuff your fine polished concrete floor!
  • Avoid direct heat from heaters and other appliances.
